Sightseeing the northern area outside the city wall
- Wat Si Chum located to the northwest outside the city wall where the revered“Phra Achana” Buddha image situated. The Buddha image is very well knownfor its massive size and intriguing stuccowork that represents Buddhist art ofserene Sukhothai Buddha image.
- Wat PhrapaiLuang, the temple complex assumed to be the former center ofthe town.
- Tao Tu Riang or Sangkhalok kilns, Sangkhalok refers to Sukhothai traditionalpottery which was widely produced from 14thcentury. This area is found with more than 50 kilns scattering around. This indicates that Sukhothai pottery was once an industrial activity.
- Hall of Buddha Siri Mara Wichai is where Sukhothai period bronze Buddhaimage enshrined. Buddha image shows the authentic bronze casting artworkof Sukhothai school of Buddhist arts that conveys the skillful craftmanship andgraceful character of Buddha image.

Sightseeing the southern area outside the city wall
Wat Chetupon : The temple is outstanding by slate stone structures e.g. door frames, window frames and balustrade. As well, one of the remarkable features is the remain of four-posture Buddha images.
Wat Chedi Si Hong: The main stupa is decorated by stucco sculptures of lions,elephants and Naga King at the base in the style of Sri Lankan Buddhist arts. |

Sightseeing the forestry area in the western zone
- Wat Saphan Hin: The temple is located on top of the hill and can be reached by walking up on 300-meter-long stone pavement. The main structure is the hall of 9-meter standing Buddha image which can be seen from the foothill. Buddha image is believed to be well respected by King Ramkhamhaeng the Great as it is recorded in stone inscription that the king visited this temple every Buddhist holy day to pay respect to the image.
- Phra Ruang earthen dike or Saridpong: It is the ancient reservoir mentioned in stone inscription and still useable at the present. It shows the wisdom of irrigation system in the past.
